The Getty Center #4

Petersen Automotive Museum #5
Petersen Automotive Museum is a museum dedicated to the history of automobiles. It is located along Wilshire Boulevard in the Miracle Mile area of Los Angeles. The museum has 25 galleries with over 100 vehicles on display.
It also houses an underground collection storage facility, called the Vault, which houses rare and historical vehicles. It is an excellent museum for anyone who is interested in cars, motorsports, and automotive history. It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

La Brea Tar Pits #9
If you’re looking for a truly historic place to visit in Los Angeles, look no further than the La Brea Tar Pits. This natural history site, which is located next to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, features bubbling tar pits that have trapped animals since the Ice Age.
These tar pits are formed when crude oil seeps through the ground, leaving sticky pools of asphalt on the surface. Animals were trapped in these pools and became fossilized over time.
The most common species found in the tar pits were dire wolves (Canis dirus), saber-toothed cats (Smilodon fatalis) and ancient bison (Bison antiquus). Check out the orange-lit wall of 400 skulls or visit the full-scale model of Columbian mammoths and American mastodons, whose tusks can be touched!
