Mumbai's feat of posting 171 for 7 was remarkable in and of itself. After 15 overs they were at 102 for 5. TilakVarma's incredible 84 runs off 46 balls gave them something.

Varma came in at 19 for 3. He opened his account with a second ball six. Suryakumar's wicket was taken in the ninth over, leaving Mumbai at 48-4. Varma continued to play his shots.

04

Du Plessis announced his fifty runs off 29 balls and celebrated with sixes off Hrithik Shukeen. Kohli was, despite some eye-catching shots being taken, second fiddle to du Plessis.

05

Karthik was promoted as No. 3. He managed to catch a three-ball duck. But Maxwell struck two sixes with three balls to push Royal Challengers to the brink.

06

In the powerplay, Mohammed Siraj was amazing. Reece Topley looked dangerous as he swung, while Karn Sharma took wickets mid-overs.
